WiM Central & Eastern PA - Rise & Thrive: Rejuvenate Your Life

This WiM PA conference at the beautiful Hershey Resort will be full of self-care to help you refresh and detox from the hustle and bustle of every day. You'll leave the event with more power and strength to use your voice, with new and renewed connections made!

The day will start with a Coffee Chat & Tasting with the Starbucks Coffee Company. Starbucks Coffee Company’s largest manufacturing operation, located in York, PA, roasts, and packages millions of pounds of coffee per year. In this session we will experience the world of coffee through the lens of humanity, by learning how an unwavering focus on quality to serve the best cup of coffee, starts far away with a farmer, a tree and a cherry.

The next step in our rejuvenating journey will be a self-care session with Brain Body Balance.  Cheryl Ditzel, a Nurse Practitioner turned Functional Health Coach and lover of all things holistic health and wellness, will nourish us with knowledge to improve our mood, sleep restoration, focus, and health. Brainbodybalance.org

Following Cheryl's session, Jenny Drescher, Founding Partner & CFO of the Bolder Company will present a sessions titled:

Stress Less, Choose More: Emotional Intelligence in Your Fast-Paced Life.

Juggling life at the speed of work creates a constant rebalancing of priorities that can leave you feeling depleted and overwhelmed, in a place where you’re surviving instead of thriving. That’s not sustainable!

During this workshop, you will:

  • Learn approaches for reclaiming your sense of control, create options for fresh solutions, and experience connection with other women in industry.

  • You will laugh and have fun as you explore how to decrease feelings of burnout by re-orienting yourself to priorities and obligations.

  • You’ll reclaim energy and perspective while creating opportunities to put yourself back in charge of key areas that affect your everyday life at home and at work.

Construction Institute’s 4th Annual AEC Leadership Conference

Discovery, Diversity, and Disruption: The Pathway to Your Leadership Growth

Today, more than ever, leaders are defined by their success in creating inclusive environments
and their ability to adapt to short-term and long-term disruptions. The Construction Institute’s 4th Annual AEC Leadership Conference will refresh your perspective on how to embrace DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) and adapt to disruption.

Our speakers include pioneers in DEI and the AEC industry, as well as an internationally-known trainer in adaptability. They will inspire you and equip you with the skills you need to create DEI programs that really work and to thrive in the face of change.

Discover your key strengths, reflect on pathways to leadership, and help develop future leaders who will continue to transform the AEC industry.

To maximize your experience, this year's virtual conference is scheduled over two mornings, giving you time to focus on your leadership without sacrificing the time you need to get your work done!

______

Join Ellen Feldman Ornato and Yvonne Alston for a special session - “Own Your Personal Why” - to discuss and help dismantle the beliefs and mindsets that may be undermining true progress in our organizations and industry.

Senior leaders and firm owners are responsible for ensuring that diversity initiatives and actions are implemented; that their organizations' statements about inclusion and belonging are actual, not aspirational. What's in the gap between stated goals and actions? How can leaders lean into the conversation and overcome the obstacles that may be in the way of true progress?
